Private Event Terms & Conditions (Hen’s Party)
By booking a private workshop with Gurasu House, all participants agree to the following terms:
1. Activity Selection and Group Requirements
  • Group Activity Mandate
All participants within a booked group are required to engage in the same selected workshop activity. This ensures that the instructor can maintain a single focus, guaranteeing the best safety, supervision, and outcome for all.
  • Subject to Availability
All workshop requests, including project complexity, group size, and scheduling, are subject to final approval based on health and safety considerations and resource availability. We reserve the right to suggest modifications to ensure a high-quality experience.
2. Custom Delivered Goods (If Applicable)
  • Non-Workshop Items
Any custom items included in the package or add-ons (e.g., custom glass rings, custom flowers) are not part of the hands-on workshop experience.
  • Crafted by Instructors
Participants will indicate their preferred color or design specification, and the custom glass item will be hand-crafted by our Gurasu House instructors.
3. Punctuality and Late Arrivals
To maximise your experience and allow for a smooth start:
  • Required Arrival Time
Please ensure your entire party arrives at the Gurasu House workshop at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. This time is essential for completing the required safety waiver process and selecting your personalised glass rod colours from our palette of 20+ shades.
  • Impact of Lateness (0-30 minutes)
The workshop will begin strictly on time with the participants who have arrived. If your group arrives late, your personal crafting time will be significantly reduced, as the instructor must prioritise the schedule of on-time participants before conducting your dedicated introduction, demonstration, and safety briefing. This may limit you to creating a simpler product (e.g., a simpler, one-layer flower with three petals, depending on the chosen workshop).
  • No-Show Policy (Over 30 minutes)
Arrivals more than 30 minutes late for the scheduled start time will be considered a no-show. The entire session will be forfeited, and no refunds or rescheduling will be offered.
4. Rescheduling Policy
  • Reschedule Window
Should you need to reschedule your private event, you must email us at enquiries@gurasuhouse.com at least 72 hours before your scheduled session time.
  • Availability
We will do our best to accommodate your preferred new date, though all requests are subject to studio and instructor availability.
5. Workshop Attire and Environment
  • Attire Recommendation
Please wear light, breathable clothing as the heat from the torches will make the studio environment warm.
  • Personal Comfort
You are welcome to bring along a portable neck fan or personal cooling device if desired.
  • Safety
All participants must wear workshop-provided closed-toe footwear, an apron and safety eyewear at all times.
6. Environmental Policy (Bring Your Own Bag)
  • BYO Bag Policy
To help reduce environmental waste, we kindly ask that every participant bring their own bag when collecting their finished piece.
  • Packaging
All finished pieces will be securely packaged in a rectangular box with cotton for safe transport. If a bag is requested, a mandatory top-up fee of $1 will apply.
